Jean's Surgery

Jean was recently diagnosed with parathyroidism. The glands in her neck were not working due to growths on them. Her calcium was going into her bloodstrem instead of her bones. This caused her to be tired, frail, (her bone density a -4) hazy, and I am sure more. She was able to get them removed Thurs. Sept. 24. Klint went up Wed. and took her to Aunt Dawn's He stayed there with her till she was released on Fri. They then went home to Manti. Klint will come home Sun.i sure hope my kids will take care of me when I need it. All in all Jean is home healing and hopefully getting stronger every min. We can't wait to have her feeling better.

Weekend in Manti

Finally we were able to get to Manti and help Jean. She will be having surgery Sept. 24. We have been wanting to get up to manti and help her with her many things that need to be done.

We picked up apples and put things away fixed some odds and ends and visited. It is always so nice to go to Manti it is such a peaceful, calming, familiar place. We love it.

Kaden has the Dr.'s o.k. to start training for football. Today is his first day back. He is hoping to be able to play in the Homecoming game on Fri. they will be playing Boulder Nv.

All in all this last week was pretty normal soccer games ,Dr. appts. hunting, some where in there maybe some exercise and lots of time driving.

We have 2 soccer games this week , back to school night, a football game lessons to be planned, maybe a yardsale and hopefully this week I can work out , and I'm sure more driving.

A Hunting we will go!

Sorry there are no pictures to show the great time we've had(Klint) has had hunting. After many lonely nights and early mornings Klint has returned home from hunting for good. We are currently down one arrow, one camera hence the no pictures,-4lbs. and no deer. He has seen his share of porcupines, chipmunks, mice and menacing little squirrels, and the occasional all be it rare doe and one 4 point buck. Klint is considering taking a sabatical from the hunting scene for awhile.
