Update
Life here is going along fairly normal. Knock on wood. Kaden is not doing Basketball. I have had to resign that this is his choice and he needs to make it and live with it. Kyra is one of the 2 team managers for the boys freshman Basketball team. Her friend Whitney's dad is the coach. So they will be score keepers and who knows what else. I just took her and Whit out this weekend for some pix. Aren't they cute girls. I was hoping to take our family picture this weekend at one of the locations we went to but, the wheather is looking like it might win. Hopefully we can get them taken soon.
I am so grateful for our many blessings, we both have our jobs, health, a warm home, food, and most of all we have each other. I am so grateful for my 2 wonderful kids. They come home for lunch together, stay up late chit chatting and are truly good friends to each other. I hope this relationship they have now will last their whole lives through. Family relationships are so important to me.
May this time of year find you and yours happy and well!

weekend
What a weekend. I am always amazed at the events that happen. Friday night was Canyon views last football game of the season. They played their local rival Cedar High. This was set to be a great game. Kaden was finally able to be on the starting defense. Cedar is known for running a handful of plays that are executed with perfection as they have been using these plays for 30 someodd years. The game started with energy abounding. Cedar ran their plays and Kaden yes 148 lb. 6"1 kaden was able to take down the first 5 tackles. However it was inevitable that they would score and score they did. The final score was Cedar 48- Canyon view 14. It wasn't the best but pretty close to what we expected. Kaden played hard and we couldn't be more proud of all he has done. It is really sad to see so many seniors that we have grown to love graduate this year. Kaden will be next:(
Sat. I spent a wonderful day in St. Geo. at the what women want expo with my mom and Amber. WE had a great time. Then Klint and I were supposed to go to dinner with some friends at 7. The boys decided to suprise me with a new kitchen sink. Kaden was helping KLint slam the sink in at 6:45p.m. and his hand got pinched in between the sink and the counter. It was bad enough that we spent the next hour at the insta care while Klint finished the sink. I don't even remember if we ate dinner. Kaden ended up having his hand carterized and one stitch put in. Just to help stop the bleeding. THat didn't last long as you know teenagers especially driving ones use their hands a lot. SO it started to beed again. Today is Sunday and so far it bleeds a lil' but not too bad.
Sunday has been great. Klint was just released from being with the teachers and put back in with the deacons and his good friends Burke and Neil. I am now teaching Primary with the 10 yr. olds. I really enjoy Sundays. I miss being around other adult women in relief society however many a moment in primary I feel like I am where I need to be.

5 day weekend
Normally I plan a big project for this weekend. Things like painting the inside, yard work etc. With a 5 days off of work a girl can get into a lot of trouble. This year I originally planned to draw up a plan for the closets down stairs and get some kind of closet organizer down there. Then move the kids down. Well as I was looking around I realized the trim and the pillar things outside were in desperate need of paint before winter. So my plans changed I quickly added the deck to my to do list and a multitude of small other projects.
Thurs. morning I was not feeling prepared but persevered anyway as I knew that someone had to do it so I was the only one who would do the painting and off I went. I scraped and sanded in the warm fall sun for hours. I soon began to feel sorry for myself wishing I wouldn't put these tasks on me.I mean really do other wives do what I do? After much anguish I finished up all that I could. Friday I worked hard to get craft things made for the Fillmore craft show .I had to buy a printer on Thurs. and set it up. So I could make tags for all my wares. By Friday evening my back started to seize up. I needed out and went to ST. Geo. to stay at my moms. Sunday I needed a day of rest. I didn't have to teach a lesson Yay!! But got put in another class so now I won't have a partner:(
Today is Mon. All of my projects were supposed to be done... NOT I finished the trim quickly and thought there might be hope to salvage my frazzled nerves and do something just for the heck of it. No I began to sand the deck only to find out it might rain. What was I to do I couldn't finish on my own and I couldn't leave bare wood to gat rained on so close to being finished. I couldn't sand any more my wrist could barely hold myself up. So in haste I finished all the sanding I could do . Knowing Klint wouldn't be home to help I got out my paint brush and painted the stain on. I hoped Klint would come home early and finish his part. It didn't happen. After the first coat I hated the new stain and had to get away from it all. so I took Kyra and a friend to Starbucks for a vanilla drink and came home. A second coat seemed in order so more staining. By 6:30 I was done and even cooked chicken alfredo for dinner with zuchinni.
I can honestly say I am exhausted. I heard on Oprah today she said " Mom's need an assistant" (I use DVR to watch TVwhen I want )I thought that's what husbands were for. Now I am beginning to wonder. Some people have kids to do the work. Maybe just maybe there is just too much for one person to do.

Jean's Surgery
Jean was recently diagnosed with parathyroidism. The glands in her neck were not working due to growths on them. Her calcium was going into her bloodstrem instead of her bones. This caused her to be tired, frail, (her bone density a -4) hazy, and I am sure more. She was able to get them removed Thurs. Sept. 24. Klint went up Wed. and took her to Aunt Dawn's He stayed there with her till she was released on Fri. They then went home to Manti. Klint will come home Sun.i sure hope my kids will take care of me when I need it. All in all Jean is home healing and hopefully getting stronger every min. We can't wait to have her feeling better.
